Ocean Revival was born in 2019 from Matt Mason’s bold vision to accomplish a world-first: rowing an unsupported route from New York to London across the perilous North Atlantic Ocean. What began as a daring mission has now evolved into a platform for ocean exploration, resilience, and environmental advocacy.

This is what he had to say about our tracking services.
We've used YB Tracking on our last four ocean rowing expeditions, covering the North Atlantic, Arctic, Pacific, and most recently the Indian Ocean - including three world-first crossings. For missions of this scale, we needed rock-solid, reliable tracking with a user-friendly interface that would satisfy sponsors and supporters, while also acting as a critical safety and coordination tool for our shore-based teams and weather routers. From the very beginning, the team at YB have been absolutely fantastic - responsive, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had everything we needed.
During our latest expedition across the Indian Ocean, our vessel capsized, and the tracker was torn from the deck and lost at sea. Despite this, the YB team, working closely with our shore support, went above and beyond - regularly providing and updating our position on the app as we sent positional data through alternative means, ensuring the safety of the crew. Their efforts were not only technically impressive but deeply reassuring during a very challenging time.
A huge thank you to Lee and the entire Yellow Brick team for their unwavering support, tireless communication, and dedication well beyond normal working hours. We'll be using YB for every future expedition - and couldn't recommend them more highly.
